For me itโ€™s gotta be century homes. Actually, I like many different houses and buildings. Almost everything that resonates within vernacular architecture. When styles, resources, and historical techniques portray the buildingโ€™s origin and function. Iโ€™m not an architect, or anything close to it, just a building enjoyer. And yes, jannies, architecture is political. The death of local architecture with replacement of soulless glass and steel buildings that are used only as their primary function instead of being sources for inspiration and beauty seem, to me, to be clinical watermarks of a global society in decline.

Unbelievable conclusion youโ€™ve risen to based off anything I just said. I donโ€™t blame zoomers for their underdeveloped brain capacity. You guys spent the formative years between childhood and adulthood frying your brains to short video formats. You didnโ€™t ask for it, you are victims of its insidious side effects. So it is okay, I forgive you. I mentioned I like a vast array of buildings and homes in many different architectural genres. Again, I know illiteracy is rampant amongst kids these days, but maybe youโ€™d be more interested in something akin to the Salzhauz. A relic lost to the war in Frankfurt

Possibly true. Well, if you ever get the chance or desire to, Chicago is home to some of the best architecture the 20th had to offer. You can take a river boat tour and get deep historical analysis to those buildings that affront the river. Itโ€™s a 10/10, and highly recommended. I am, however; not a good photographer kek

Peak architecture was in the 1920โ€™s and 30โ€™s, especially housing. Houses were bigger, the concept of a lawn wasnโ€™t cemented into American culture, and everything was much more classy. Crazy man dominated and still look fantastic. After WW2 homeownership rose at the cost of aesthetics. Houses were all identical cuck boxes; they shrunk a considerable amount. Lawns became a thing for some reason no one can explain. Ceilings shrunk from 10โ€™ to 8โ€™ because of A/C. By the 70โ€™s ranch style houses became much more popular, and Boomers fucking loved them because they had such good awful taste (this hasnโ€™t changed and was passed down to the McMansions buying kids).

>>508950605
Itโ€™s Streamline Moderne and Art Deco, both of which had a small resurgence in the late 60โ€™s and again in the mid 80โ€™s. These styles (and the architectural glass blocks) were most popular in the 1930โ€™s and 1940โ€™s.

You laugh but this makes it impossible to be snuck up on in the shower. Sure, maybe they get there in the minute your eyes are closed when you're washing the shampoo out of your hair and get the jump on you but what are the odds of that. People don't realize how vulnerable they are behind their normal cuck curtain
