Peak architecture was in the 1920โs and 30โs, especially housing. Houses were bigger, the concept of a lawn wasnโt cemented into American culture, and everything was much more classy. Crazy man dominated and still look fantastic. After WW2 homeownership rose at the cost of aesthetics. Houses were all identical cuck boxes; they shrunk a considerable amount. Lawns became a thing for some reason no one can explain. Ceilings shrunk from 10โ to 8โ because of A/C. By the 70โs ranch style houses became much more popular, and Boomers fucking loved them because they had such good awful taste (this hasnโt changed and was passed down to the McMansions buying kids).
