There are half a dozen good Youtube alternatives. If you want your videos recommended to YT users then that won't happen. Rumble and Odysee are probably the two most full-featured American options. If you had a lick of brains (you don't) you'd use one hosted outside Globohomo.

You need to do your own marketing and traffic generation for your channel no matter where it is. Don't rely on some external algo to send you traffic for nothing. Do stuff that virally generates more interest such as running contests for memes or some other flywheel that gets more people focused on your stuff
