this reminds me of Santa-Barbara-like books and the other "book mills" that essentially consisted in one single guy hiring a whole army of writers to "write books" where the plot ended up similar between the books
the endless Santa Barbara and rest that were more or less a cheesy boilerplate romance that might as well have been computer generated
so much trash out there that you can waste your entire life passing your eyes over words that are completely meaningless

although, to be fair, lots of silicon valley and even other prestigious institutions have been hiring, well, "skirts" on work contracts that mentioned them as "managers", "engineers" or even "programmers"
turned out the skirts mostly got hiked up now and then plus a little virtue signalling but that the overall outcome was pretty bad that employers ended up firing entire floors of employees
then again, they wanted the qt3.14 with blonde hair and blue eyes, they definitely didn't want that greasy hair fatso that could actually write something sensible that does not include "generating templates" for code
