The pedo bullshit occured way before these changes were made. In a handful or cases changes were made AFTER the results of these trials. Also, imo it was fine to include women, gays, and trannies so long as the program itself didn't go woke. Problem is that it did. Scouts got bastardized because of soccer mom helicopter parenting rather than le jews.

Parents fell into one of two camps

Scouting is a function of local parent structures. In cities, you get more woke troops that only do city bullshit instead of camping, outdoor skills, etc. The rural troops oftentimes have better program but have incredibly low funding and turnout.

Costs a shit ton of money these days too. Registration is somewhere around 100 and summer camps are around 500 a week.

I think the decline of bsa is a function of parents and community adults refusing to be accountable collectively.

On the women and trannies front, why does it matter who learns the program so long as the program is good. Its not like bsa ever taught anyone to treat women as objects or whatever "traditional values" you think they taught. The skills are good for all. Why wouldn't they be?

I have spent a lot of time observing the scouts from a secure location. From the hours I have logged, it seems pretty harmless and fun. A lot of those kids clearly don't have fathers around, so the activities are very beneficial.

What's a good program for a 6 years old boy these days? In California, unfortunately. I'm Euro and not really familiar with any, just know that the cookie girls pop up next to supermarket once a year.
