Defeating anti-missile tech is difficult.
Iran who is so far the most successful at striking Israel vs. Hamas, Hezbola and the Houthis.
Iran has a hit ratio of 5 per 45 missiles.
This based on their most effective units.
So 1000 Iranian ballistic missiles would only result in 111 random unguided strikes.
It is my belief that the many American bases in Iraq were also shooting down Iranian missiles as they travelled to Israel.
To cause a major devastation to Israel shooting randos Iran would have to fire 10000 of their best missiles simultaneously.
Or have boots in Israel and use a laser guidance system.
Just my observations.

They begged because they had no ammunitions for Iron dome, David sling and arrow 3.
Iran's last attack really fuck them up, the death and damage in that last attack was considerably larger than the previous ones.
They would have turned into ashes if the war went on for a couple more days.
