Saying that we just realized that you aren't actually a citizen and therefore you don't actually have a right to be here and then deporting you wouldn't be ex post facto. It would be correcting a paperwork error.

Turns out that a lot of people had been misinterpreting the 14th Amendment and someone who happens to be born on US soil to parents who are here illegally doesn't automatically get citizenship.
It is no different than someone being recognized as having citizenship after filing false paperwork or some other fraudulent means, then no longer recognizing them as being citizens after the fraud is discovered.
