Michael Savage claims that Dave Paulides is lying about the Missing 411 cases. Savage argues that Paulides is a grifter and that there is no supernatural element or monsters which are stalking people in forests. Savage says that drug cartels are to blame as unfortunate people have stumbled across labs and are then executed by sicarios. This makes sense as Pablo Escobar used to have labs in forests.

Stop falling for Paulides's grift, it has been debunked.

its been the same 12 people telling them for the last 50 years
they've even been in pop culture writing fictional dictionaries and game books
ian punnet straight up told his callers that if they wanted more stories then they needed to make them up themselves

Savage is right, cryptids are a meme. More often than not some unwitting normie stumbles on a cia/mossad blacksite, sees some shit he isn't supposed to see, then gets beamed and the ashes disposed of in a lake

The Missing Enigma youtube channel is a good one if you are interested in Missing 411.
https://www.youtube.com/@TheMissingEnigma/featured

The guy started out as a true believer but ended up coming to the conclusion that in most instances there are more rational plausibilities.
I like his videos because he does not have a self righteous tone. He never conclusively says that supernatural elements are not at play. He just presents all the facts and demonstrates that the more rational hypothesis is often times totally possible.
He also travels to the locations himself in most of his recent videos and walks around giving the viewer an actual sense of the terrain. Plus unlike a lot of youtube 'mystery' slop, he is actually very respectful to the victims in how he makes his content.
I definitely think that Paulides is a grifter. He may have started out with a genuine hypothesis that something supernatural or unexplained was happening in state parks but it is obvious that once he started making money with this narrative he started twisting facts so that he could keep pumping out books.

Thanks fren. I will look at that channel. I'm sure Paulides also makes shit up about monsters when he hears about people going missing in the Aussie Outback doesn't he?

You serious? Of course they fucking do. Do you have any idea how massive our national forests are?
I think it's probably a combination of things, with maybe 1 percent of them not involving kidnapping or murder. Lots of shit happens in the woods..

There is at least one historical Aussie case he has looked at from like the 1920s or 30s but not sure if he has done any contemporary Aussie cases.
Even though Australia is vast our population is so much smaller than the US that we have less bizarre missing persons cases in the wilderness. Also our population is a lot more urbanised than the US and even though we love to present ourselves as rugged outdoorsmen, I think in reality a higher percentage of Americans actually engage in serious outdoor activity than Australians.

There are monsters in the forests. Not all 411 cases are from these monsters though
