The only poetry I've ever really liked. Can't stand most of it, prefer prose. Yes he was a drunk degenerate piece of shit but so am I

I just watched a youtube video about him and this thread pops up.

I do not condone alcoholism so I do not agree with him. I think there are better philosophers out there but I guess he had talent of spreading philosophical thought to the pleb which probably postively influenced a lot of them.

I take Henry Miller over him any day, but the man had a fuckin gift of making you shake your head with very few words.
