I was surprised when I found that KJV and other translations actually used Jehovah/Yahweh.
Not just for scriptures that try to put the name in the spotlight or say to call on (a form of) God's name, but even some alters/dedication sites that use the name, it's translated instead place LORD or God there.
Was a bit puzzling at first but then even Jesus (and so many non-religious names) take different forms due to time/language/translation, etc.

Given the general text in question there's likely more than one passage but on a quick look-up it may be drawing from Matthew 18:15-17. Basically 3 chances to listen and start mending your ways otherwise you're out. Returning is also a possibility, unless that's now changed.
