Pretty much every country has committed war crimes and/or atrocities at one point and Germany is no exception, but the ability of the German people to acknowledge that, make amends with their undesirable past, and work towards constructing a country of relative peace and prosperity in spite of that is astounding. Had Germany not beef utterly annihilated after WW2 it would have been easy to just reneg on such admissions of guilt or just pretend they didn’t happen like modern day Japan does with its atrocities in China/Korea, but the government has acknowledged these actions and its culture and people are the better for that. The honesty and humility in modern day German culture is something that Germans really aught to be proud of, ironically.

Im a very lazy person and dont like working hard. Even when cleaning the dust off a shelf I sometimes dont do the corners or the harder places to clean. Im also slightly physically disabled after a car crash. I will fix that somewhat so its not visible when I walk but I cant crouch as effectively or do pushups because of my forearm.
