actually rap was considered on its deathbed during bush era, the rapper nas even released an album called "hip hop is dead". at the time rap was mainly novelty ring tone rap garbage like souljaboy and an over bloated gangsta rap that had become a cartoon with guys like 50 cent


it wasnt till the 2010s when obama took over that they killed rock fully and gave rap a steroid injection. they whittled down music to pop and pop rap.

but even that is now dying in the 2020s as its been 15 years of the same trap drums, so people are getting bored with it.

they still refuse to bring back rock music or guitar music in the mainstream though

The decline of music was purely business. Act of the faceless elite who cares only about money.
The reason hip hop was picked up and pushed through is that one rapper can do it, and the labels only have to pay one man.

The biggest problem for the labels is sponsoring fledgling bands, hoping they'd get famous. They have to put money into shows, recording, and pay / share profits with the drummer, guitarist, etc too. It's much easier if they just have to deal with one man who plays no instrument. Especially if they can pick that guy up from the ghetto.

One of many schizo theories I have is that the CIA and Jews funded and practically created grunge music in the early 90s to forcefully kill off metal music from the mainstream. This is because Rap was also being promoted and created and Jews worried Metal would become even more explicitly White in retaliation against Black Rap, and so killed it to replace it with Grunge because Grunge is inherently gay and demasculine, the literal opposite of Metal, and the type of music that would work better at programing Whites than Metal. This theory is just brainstorming various things I've seen, but I believe there might be some truth to it. I could be wrong, but I believe one of Kurt Cobain's mentors, or at least some guy who heavily assisted him, was literally affiliated with the CIA, and I could've swore Grunge just popped out of no where in the early 90s.
