Croatia: Italian pedophile recorded naked children on the beach with spy cameras disguised as pens and a keyfob
ISTRIAN police have completed a criminal investigation into a 67-year-old Italian citizen suspected of the criminal act of exploiting children for pornography.
As reported by the Istrian Police Department, on June 26, at around 3 p.m., a guest at a tourist facility in Istria noticed a man filming naked children with a ballpoint pen with a hidden camera. The guest detained him until the police arrived.
Based on a court order, the police then searched two ballpoint pens with integrated cameras, one key with a built-in camera, and the associated memory cards. The suspect's cell phone and vehicle were also searched. The devices contained incriminating material.
The man was arrested and, on the evening of June 27, he was handed over to the detention unit of the Istrian Police Department with a criminal complaint.
