I was born just in time to remember when life existed without mobile phones being EVERYWHERE. I never had one until 2021. I struggle to imagine what it's like not even knowing life without it. Some girl's brother used to spend all day watching minecraft videos on his iPad, he was 6. Fucking hell, imagine having THAT as a childhood.

Yes. Although thankfully due to my natural proclivities (sperg) in addition to my parents I was never that involved in any of it really. I completely agree though, to have such habits deeply ingrained and normalised in you from such an early age, there was truly no chance of escape. I maintain that such free reign on devices / the internet from an early age is a form of mild child abuse.

That's funny I deleted fb in 2017 also. Closest thing to "social media" I use is YouTube and I was fortunate to have the foresight a decade ago to make a couple google accounts with fake names because now I think you have to scan your ID kek
