This is the simple truth. For 99,9999% of right-wingers communism is the lesser evil. Nazis are the ultimate worst thing that can ever happen. That is why the right will ALWAYS submit to left totalitarianism. The left will just kill western civilization and so-called conservatives will still think "well, at least it's not Hitler".

It wasn't always the case. Before WW2 most british conservatives saw Hitler as the lesser evil who was fighting the bolsheviks. Same basically everywhere, most right-wingers were pretty open to fascism to some degree. But post war the right just bought into everything the left told them and cut off their own revolutionary arm. Which is what fascism is.
