It’s Sunday. I got up at about 9 after seven decent hours of sleep. My older son made me coffee, my younger one was nice and let me sleep and made his own breakfast.

Last night I was out partying with friends at the beach and then at a nightclub. Nothing about having children got in the way of that at all. Dancing and drinks and a good time, and then back home to my happy wife and healthy kids for a more wholesome Sunday. No crime, no sin.

Sometimes I have parties here where I invite people and their kids, and we stay up late and have a roaring fire and beers and it’s a blast. The kids stay up until they crash in a big pile in the living room or wherever they find a couch…

OP, if you think kids are stopping you from having fun, you’ve consumed too much propaganda. Kids are fun, you can bring them places, you can have fun in their presence, they want you to! They love social gatherings and dancing more than the grownups even.
