The reality is that nobody really gave a fuck about media having a token nigger or woman or whatever so long as they felt like they actually belonged. Nobody complained about Bentley in Sly Cooper. Bring this up and then the faggots will try to pivot and gaslight you by saying that it's only because of the "culture war" nowadays, when, again, it's only because they're so obvious about it that it ruins immersion and is insulting to the player (although there is some truth to the fact that some people have woke fatigue).

I think it's the uncreative manner that they do it really.
Like slapping a wheelchair in WOW and barely making it lore relevant. If whoever wanted to add that thought about it for more than a few seconds they could write an entire quest line about wizards creating spells and enchantments so injured soldiers could keep fighting.
