Away from public eye there was a interparty conference and report supporting reinstating draft in Poland. Compulsory military service was described as"reinforcement of national spirit" and opposing "extreme individualism". The report says Poles need to be ready to "make sacrifices" for the state.
Funny enough the report was made by think tank headed by a group of "experts" and military officials but also two Ukrainian ministers kek.Draft is to include everyone(including women) over the age of 19, and will be automatically allocated using digital ID called mObywatel. Vice Prime Minister Kosiniak Kamysz said AI systems will be used to categorize "volunteers". While the authors want it to be compulsory, they assure only volunteers will be drafted and you don't have to serve in military at all, you can work in fire department or help elderly ;)

The report was prepared by Instytut Sobieskiego, which is odd by politicians from former governing PiS party and Ukrainian politicians former vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Kubrakow, and former minister of defence Ołeksij Reznikow

SELECTING THE TYPE OF TRAINING - MOBYWATEL APPLICATION
After qualification and assignment of a health category, each young person will be able to indicate the type of training they prefer. The possibility of such a choice will be created in the mObywatel application. After logging in, within the intuitive, user-friendly panel, everyone will be able to familiarize themselves with information about the types of training they prefer and mark them. The administration may, but does not have to, take them into account. The premise determining the allocation will be the actual needs of the state - primarily the armed forces. However, it seems that at the first stage it will be possible to adapt the training to the preferences of the trainees without major problems.
