It ain’t just Jews. Every religion with strict rules breeds loopholes.

Jews: God’s lawyered. Halacha too strict? Build an Eruv, “sell” your bread, loophole your way to holiness. Masters of divine Talmudic judo.

Christians (esp. Catholics): Hide meat in pasta (Maultasche), call it fish, confess later. “God sees the heart” but maybe not your plate.

Muslims: Don’t outsmart the rule, just do it in secret. Fast all day, party all night. Social shame > divine guilt.

Hindus/Buddhists: Less rulelawyering, more karma washing. Screw up? Donate something. No cosmic court case needed.

Bottom line:
If your God has rules, humans will find a way to cheat without “technically” sinning.
It’s not faith – it’s firmware.

>breeds loopholes.
is this a problem?
Does the mere existence of loopholes means the law in question should be overturned?
