conservatism is an inherently cowardly and fearful ideology. it is literally the politics of fear.
that's why they spend so much time LARPing as strong and tough while never actually doing anything. they are totally intolerant of any kind of risk. they just want the world to stay static forever, because they are hypersensitive to uncertainty.
it's why conservatism is the ideology of the old and frail and those who have a lot to lose. people who are young and ambitious are usually progressive, not in a cultural sense but in terms of wanting change.

The Iranians are literally saying that they need to play along with Trump's declaration of victory. All of this is literally done to prevent Jews and their Pentagon golems from starting an actual war with a genuine US bombing campaign to destroy Iran's cusp-of-nuclear deterrent.
