They'd have yachts to ferry them to the mainland and maybe jet hydrofoils that ferry cargo of luxuries/land-based food to the community, there'd be proper hydroponic+aquaculture farms too though so they're somewhat self-sufficient
Eventually the cost of the tech would come down from their pioneering of it, and you'd be able to sell your 500-700k land house and buy a sea-stead property if you're the adventurous type
It's not like a large amount of people are going to want to do it since the seastead lifestyle is probably not for like 80% of the population but I'm certain there'd be enough adventurous pioneers to get a few sea-nations started
