Even when most other Japanese companies were trying really hard to appeal to Blackrock and (((global audience))), Pokemon franchise was at most part staying the same even with some minor changes for global audience. Now it went fully globohomo mode and even its gameplay changed drastically to the worst to "appeal to the modern audience" despite the fact that the modern audience of all generations has been supporting Pokemon for so long. With Sword/Shield they ve put some effort and it still felt like an actual Pokemon game. But it still had crap like certain Pokemon being paid DLCs, weak design for almost all the Legendary Pokemon, weak, rushed after game events etc.

Also even with Sun/Moon they started doing sneak crap like replacing "Are you a boy or a girl?" with "Choose your style". Hell, even with X/Y they did crap like turning a certain NPC into a tranny at the global localization.
