I know exactly what OP is talking about.
I've seen it, I know why schizos thinks schizo thoughts.
It's weird as fuck, but there's a decent amount of evidence that they want you to feel like you're in the matrix already.
You could walk down this road or that when thinking about what it could be.
But it's easier understood at base value.
The "psychosis" isn't natural. There's tech that can communicate through dreams and visions. It gives you tinnitus. It is deadly. The music is singing about it. And it feels like there's a computer trying to weave you into storylines through dreams and the media.
The "natural/non media synchronicities" exist too, but it's hard to explain cause the dreams start throwing around the God title, and aliens and Jesus images will flash, while you become buddy buddy with possibly the devil.

I was thinking about this actually yesterday. I have a theory based on my ass and my gut that if you wormhole in our universe through quantum field or zero point field you end up in the next universe over. And all universes are separated by spacetime medium.
