Machiavelli would say the opposite as patron saint of narcissists so the idea is to seek the middle way.

That's my opinion, those that shit on the good then cry later when "where have all the good men gone?" So yeah a logical level of kind and only the other good deserve community with ... I'm making Straight White Non Jewish separations in my life and they didn't give me self care time when I was younger and still make things a hassle so some end up in positions where one can't be as kind even to one's self
