If it means everyone deserves the same rights and protections, I mean that's just how you build a fair society (I know nothing is 100 percent fair, but it's better to strive for a fairer society). Everyone should have the ability to compete and see who the best is. Although nepotism and corruption still muddies the game, still real productivity and achievement can be increased with a somewhat levelled playing field. There should be a floor to poverty and quality of life and a roof on power in a reasonable way. But trying to force every industry to have the same demographics as the general population is dumb.
