They make sense. I think it has to do with hyper socialization more than anything. Not being around people and other voices all the time and just being alone causes one to have less of a group think mentality. Lots of these kids grew up at a peak time of formation (13-18) during covid, and thus, were alone a lot.

Honestly, as someone who was born in 1990 I can say that the 90s were probably the last good decade of humanity/civilization. Everything started to slowly go down hill after 2001 and at around 2007 this decline was accelerated by social media which eventually lead to the current state of things.

I also find it hard to relate to other millennials and zoomers in the modern day. Back in the 90's we all use to just click/vibe and every thing just made sense, but in the modern day most millennials and zoomers are borderline authoritarian communists in their worldview. Millennial women are especially bad and are essentially a lost cause at this point.

I long for the days were you had to actually input an IP address to browse the web instead of just a www. At least then most normies would be filtered out and we could go back to the old "wild west" style of the internet like back in the late 90s early 2000s and things could be fun again instead of being sanitized/corporatized.
