Notice how absurdly expensive it has become to hire something like a handyman in america, while the return on investment of college degrees is at an all time low.
The transition of western countries to "service economies" have largely turned their economies into pyramid schemes where nothing actually matters. Jobs can be fake, school can be fake, all practical skills can atrophy within a population. This scheme is slowly coming to an end as first world economies slowly lose their ability to leverage the real labor of the rest of the world (in that a country like china no longer relies on our financial institutions or technology, because they have built their own, and they have not forgotten how to actually be productive)
Asking men why they are "falling behind" is an attempt to gaslight them into participating in a collapsing economic paradigm
Complaining about their grades until the professor gives them a better one.
More men getting injured dealing with rejects not removed from school system, no child left behind has put the union and the teachers in opposition.
Physical feats are rewarded for minorities.
I have a long list of excuses, but I think repealing no child left behind and empowering teachers to control classroom culture with excommunication timeouts w/e is mentally punitive, but not physical because sadistic asshole exist
