The whole thing was so clearly a joke it actually worked.
Rear rack had a snowboard bolted to it for a wing, it was sick as.
If I put it in first and kept my leg rigid and blipped the throttle it would do a squealing bunny hop, could do it up the whole Main Street of town on a Friday night. I’ll try to find a photo.
My dad sold it while I was away for a few weeks and left it with them. It was registered, warranted with a full tank. Got NZ$120 for it, less than the fuel in it. Last one I saw for sale was rough as, automatic and $6500.

While I’m talking about car disappointment, I agreed to buy a 70s Mercedes limo.
Column change automatic with ghostbusters type wings on the back, all working well enough.
Long enough for 2 sets of racks for our whitewater boats.
Guy wanted $500 for it. So I priced up an acid green metallic paint job, reupholster in velvet and leopard skin, modern V8 and a sweet sound system - worked in the industry so wasn’t going to be too expensive, about 7k as I recall.
Went to pick it up, and the old owner had got pissed and just given it away.

that doesn’t even include high capacity magazines on hunting rifles.
