Will we or our descendants start seeing the opposite of these excessively progressive ideals in the future? To the point where it is repressive and shitty in the opposite direction?

I think it means a future-focused politic that sees change as necessary for improvement, in contrast to a conservative politic, focused on past or present, and celebrating tradition over change.
I’m not wrong bud.

I didn't think the book was boring, but I do think all the hype over "The Judge" was pretty overblown. He was sold to me as one of the most horrifying villains of all time. But like, he just does random bloody degenerate bullshit. He literally buys some puppies and then throws them off a bridge. It's so over-the-top it's almost comical. And like, there's no great mystery about him. Yeah, he's secret Satan, we get it.

I don’t care enough about trannies one way or the other. Wedge issues don’t move my needle enough to change my mind. That’s why they’re wedge issues - because they activate people against their own interests.
Why do you care about trannies so much that you fight, or do anything you’d otherwise differently?

Everything is cyclical until reformed.
You mow the lawn and it grows back up, so you mow it again. But you wouldn't do it if the grass disappeared.
In time, no one will remember there was grass to mow and would then say it's not cyclical.

The kid rapes and murders the girl with the dancing bear from the saloon in the outhouse. That's why she's gone missing the next morning. That's why there's a man outside the outhouse (the now grown "kid") telling the men who discover the body not to go in there. That's why the kid sought out a midget hooker the night before. The judge is dancing because he won. He made the kid what he wanted him to be.
