There are definitely some serious discussions here and important things being said. COVID lockdowns are a sensitive topic because it touches the boundaries of freedom. Is it okay to go outside when it necessarily kills other people? Isn't that compromising the freedom of the people you kill? There is no right answer, here. Intervention was used and people would have been upset either way.

Regardless, censorship was a poor decision -- even though there were groups that were engaging in disinformation that led to more public harm. Flexing authoritarian muscle to control discourse is not justifiable even if it saves lives.

Back in 2011 when the board came back, this was a place of unparalleled quality. We posted dumps of book scans, recorded lectures and speeches, just all the most mind-nourishing information condensed into easy accessible forms.
