Outside the major cities most towns are economic wastelands and families have blown apart with their members becoming atomized in search of better economic opportunities. My home town had a big steel mill as the center of its economy, that mill shut down in the 90s after nafta and it became an alcoholic wasteland, families that lived in that town for 200 years subsequently dispersed.

That's why country music is gay. The only people I know who listen to it are women and faggots. It's basically pop music but stylized with a fake caricature of America that does not exist anymore. I'm sure there was some good country music at some point, maybe 70s-90s, but I literally cringe whenever I hear it now and if someone tells me they love country music I lose respect for them as a person.
