>>509183156 (OP)I'm for addressing the deficit/debt/inflation.... As I understand it you can do it 3 ways (you can also do it through economic growth.... again this is my very limited knowledge and simplistic take on this issue). Here are the three ways:
1. Only Raise taxes
2. Only Cut spending
3. Raise taxes while cutting spending
So, when you bring up Roh, and supporting progressives.... I don't really have a problem so long as they prioritize the things I care about:
The things I care about that are deal breakers for me if a politician wavers on them:
1. Civil liberties and privacy, defending the bill of rights.
2. Auditing the fed, ending it and giving back that role to congress, gold and silver as legal tender and maybe even bitcoin (latter one is not a deal breaker), Also getting that fractional reserve banking thing under control. I remember reading that on one of Dr. Pauls books
3. Rolling back the empire and cutting the bloated pentagon/defense budget (No more funding of wars and going to war... putting America first)
4. Defending the borders, illegal immigration etc.... you know where I stand on that.
If there was a democrat running who was for my main issues, I would vote for them against any republican, even if they choose option 3 to address the deficit.... Like Roh wants.
now if both the democrat and the republican were for all that but the republican was for cutting spending and not raisin taxes I would vote for the republican.
