>>509187073While corruption is still an ongoing problem, they (bureacrats, government officials) usually don't bother too much with big giants. Corruption is crippling to the average indian citizen but its just chump change for big corporations, and a affordable cost of doing business.
Japan and Korean corporations already have joint partnerships with Indian manufacturers for DECADES now at this point. And probably one reason why Indian cars and bikes are things that china struggles to compete with in African and South American markets.
So we have an established track record of corporate success for multinational firms in India.
Apple already assembles recent versions (and a few older versions) of iphones in India.
