They seem to not have any long term way of thinking about property. They can't bear being stolen from but will turn around and do it to other because "I didn't have none"
A perfectly reasonable mentality in a primitive society where all the resources are right from the environment around you. Savage when surrounded by complex ideas about property and most things are the result of complex production that gives items scarcity and value.

Monkey sees a pile of food and takes some because they are hungry, no problem.
