The Roman Empire was an abomination and I'm tired of pretending otherwise. In the city of Rome itself lived people that came from all over three continents. By living in such an environment, the originally shared Roman identity and moral decorum rapidly eroded, leading to widespread debauchery, to the rise of foreign religions and to the inception of feminism, all of which poisoned every single Roman institution. Soon enough, mass migrations were happening all over the empire and Rome found itself being ravaged by barbarians, turning from the capital of the world to the grave of the Roman people.
