I am wholly convinced that they initially flagged him down for smelling of drugs that are illegal in the US but not Norway or he looked like someone on a wanted listed, and when they went through his phone, they found evidence of him doing stuff that is illegal in the US but not Norway, and decided it would be less of a headache to send him back than to jail him on the spot. If I'm not mistaken, the report said he also had a pipe on him. Tobacco pipes are not common anymore so it was likely for weed and he didn't have a medical card, or it's for crack or harder drugs. The idea that TSA telepathically knew he had some lazy image manipulation and sent him back because of it is beyond silly.
