Bad for the fuel pump. Personally I think no one should treat cars like boomers did anymore since they're being phased out. Ideally everyone would be mileagemaxxing nowadays.

Remember when King nigger killed the used car market with his cash for clunkers program and forced everyone into buying a new car with prices through the roof thanks to lower supply and increased demand plus inflation? You know, the one that young, entry level workers relied on to provide themselves with affordable transportation to and from a job?

From the perspective of the auto makers, they don't want anymore than two owners before the car is junked. The new car gets bought or preferably leased. After the lease period is up, the car gets traded in for another new car. That used car gets sold to a second car buyer. By 100,000-150,000 miles the car is out of warranty and should be disposable by then as far as the auto makers are concerned. That way the second buyer has to go and buy another car just out of lease.
This is the business model for the auto makers. It provides steady production and income. They don't really care about the dealers that may have to fix the cars for a 3rd buyer.

I can't even afford to drive my car due to required insurance, and that's before factoring in gas and the occasional maintenance.
I've had my car for years but it's more expensive to use than I can keep up with, and there's no point to working if you're just pouring that money into the ride you take to work.
I ride my bike and stack cash instead.

My daughter is 22 and still doesn't have a license. Her boyfriend doesn't have a license. They Uber everywhere or take the bus, which in Atlanta is probably nigger infested and disgusting. I've bribed her with a brand new vehicle of her choosing to get a license, but she refuses saying it's easier to live the way she's living.

Even if you can get past the finances part, you still have to share the roads with an increasingly swarthy and unhinged population full of low impulse control and low IQ decision makers who may or may not be literate enough to read signs in plain English. In my city alone there are multiple car accidents daily (hundreds per year)

In the US alone enough people are killed on the roads every year to fill a Super Bowl stadium. Take a moment to think about that. An entire superbowl stadium worth of human beings are slaughtered by cars every year in just the United States. That's not even the end of it, either. You can fill more then 10 Super Bowl stadiums with the number of people injured by cars... again in just the US alone.

Cars are the worst form of transportation possible.

Considering the sheer size of the USA?
And the scale of everything there?

You could probably fill a super bowl stadium with the number of Americans who died from having sex with animals each year.
Or the number of Americans who can't pronounce nuclear
Or the number of Americans who cut their own dick off during a psychotic episode.

The death of the affordable car certainly has something to do with it but most kids got hand me down and used cars of which there is still at present a market for (though like everything else they’re more expensive). Drivers are much worse than they were in 2019 for some reason. I’m talking civilized white drivers too. We drive faster and more aggressively for some reason. If I didn’t have years of driving experience it would be very intimidating. But being swaddled by their parents to the point where everybody has some form of autism is part of it too

Look up the total number of cars actually claimed under cash for clunkers, it's barely above 500k total for the entire program
For context Ford makes 700k f150s alone per year
Plus it was not mandatory and if your car was drivable you would get more for selling it then giving it to clunkers anyway and people did that.

This. It's dystopian that you basically need a car to function in the west, and it's especially important to have a car when you're young so you can get a good start in life. Yet cars are expensive as hell to buy and maintain, and insurance fucks your ass when you're a young guy. If you don't have wealthy parents who can buy you a car and pay to maintain/insure it, it's basically GG

My own companys CEO on down doesn't get a company car.
