APC's would get droned too, with rpg rocket instead of hand grenades.
Bikes are cheaper and faster, much cheaper and easier to get than APCs.
Russia and Ukraine anyway used (still use? Idk) shitty soviet era APC's like BTR series, not only it barely has protection from small firearms fire, dshk or m2 50cal can easily swiss cheese it, its entry/exit hatches are located SIDEWAYS of apc. AND you have to crouch to get in/get out when btr gets immobilised or whatever.
