what i do is i collect cash from everyone at the table "for the tip" and just put it on my card and i pocket a lot of the cash while still leaving a decent tip

I used to never eat out, but since these videos started gaining popularity, I've been eating out more frequently. I always write "I'm sorry, I can't afford to tip" on the bottom of every bill. I would normally leave a small tip, maybe 10% if the service was good, but seeing seething roasties whining about muh 30% tip, I simply can no longer justify doing so. The no tax on tips thing was for cash tips, which nobody reported to the IRS anyway. It was a total scam. Any tips on credit card payments was still going to be taxed. That said I don't tip as much as I used to because now everyone is brown.
