tariff income is good income. prices aren't rising. trade negotiation outcomes dont matter. the delays, such as they are, allows for domestic capital models to be updated and investments to be made, transition of supply chains, etc.

theres nothing to worry about. hopefully we get a trillion in tariff income every year, and can pay down the debt to manageable levels before social security runs out. that'd be nice.
