Even when Israel starts conflicts they expect the US to supply them with literally everything essentially fighting the war for them and any damage they've taken will be paid for by the US tax payer. They will even pull tricks to try to get the US directly involved to do all the physically fighting for Israel while taking on all the costs as well. Is Israel really and ally of the US? What positive thing do they even do for as that makes them an ally?
