It used to not be shit. Id say it changed around… 2010. Maybe a little sooner. 2006/7 or so. Atleast for DFW. But I left in 2018 and have never been happier.

Everything remotely useful is a 50 mile drive away no matter where you are (prepare to block out your entire day if you have to run an errand trip into town)

Can't even speed when traveling the massive distances required to do anything, cops everywhere with radar guns waiting for you to go 5mph over the posted limit (which is always ridiculously slow)

Texas legislature had the chance to pass e verify this last session but instead banned random bullshit like acting like a furry in public and 5 year minimum sentences for looking at spicy anime pictures
