Trump should cut social security and medicaid too now, why isn't there more talk about it? We have very precious little time before the midterm election cycle to do it. The faster the bandaid is pulled the more time voters have to forget about it

I don't think they'd vote for something that would turn basically all of their constituents against them. Even most young people who don't really expect to see a dime from SS don't seem to support cutting it as far as I can see.
