I'll speak about Estonia since it's where I'm stuck and where extreme conservatism, on the level of Indian Hindutva retardation, is the norm.
What Estonian conservatives are trying to conserve is some made up identity, coming with made up texts and made up rituals, created in the 19th century by a group of Romantically inclined German Jews. This comes with claims of exceptional superiority - for example, Estonians want to have school teaching Estonians in Estonian in Sweden, while they're banning Russian from work and public spaces in Estonia at the speed of a Jeet ejaculating in a white cunny - and a fabricated history and fabricated claims supporting said exceptionalism: that they were the smartest, most spiritual, most heroic nation in the Baltics who had been suffering at the hand of mean aggressors who oppressed them by allowing them to speak Estonian, hold their fake rituals, and even gave them position of power.
Conservatives are preserving a fabricated, hallucinated, delusional idea of the past that never had existed in the first place. This idea is being sold to the dumb public that is the main body of conservatives by cluster B personalities who discovered that by selling the lie of an utopian past along with the lie that it's possible to return to such an utopian past (by killing whatever element is responsible for the current fall from heaven, be it Russians, Jews, Americans, Blacks, Left Wing, Chinese, Koreans, English Colonialists) they can get unlimited power and money.
Conservatism is a dumb ideology for the dumb people, who truly believed there were EVER some good times and that its possible to have the good time by getting rid of some undesirable group that is living marginally, on the border of society, has zero political or cultural power, and is actually suffering because of the middle class white, Estonian, Indian, Chinese, Russian majority. Dumb ideology for dumb people employed by psychopaths to fleece the population of money.
