You make a good point about glide bombs - the mentioned systems don't stop them. What does stop them is shooting down the carrier plane, for which you need either Patriot missiles, Aster 30 missiles (both in relatively short supply) or fighter jets with long - range interceptors (such as AMRAAM's). Ukraine can't really have a big air force at the moment, both due to logistics and training issues, as well as the insecurity of their air bases (unless they dig some bunkers in the Carpathian mountains, which will take time and money). Therefore Ukraine will keep requiring hundreds of Patriot missiles per year so as not to get pounded by the RuAF.
