I can confirm it's hot, but that's life.
Medias and politicians are fear mongering to the max with MUH CLIMATE CHANGE, without attacking the root cause: global trade.

To answer op's question, it's the climate change psyop.

>be Australia
>weather has always been bonkers here
>floods in one part of the country drought in other
>mfw everybody spazzes out when weather is not exactly as predicted because of muh climate change
Also
>what about muh bushfires!! there getting worse every year!!!
Bushfires have gotten worse because we unironcally prevent them from spreading which builds up the undergrowth until it's a powder keg waiting to go off.

No. It was considered a dreadful historical event.
There are records of temperature at least since the 20th century and a lot of amateur records, if you fear any tampering of offical records.
The smartest (or least dumb) deniers recognize that the global temperature are rising fast and that it is man made but they claim that the damage will be limited so it is not worth sacrificing the economy.
Which is the path that our ZOGs elites are following, despite a few PR stunt here and there (e.g. EU ban of petrol cars, that will fade away before the due date kek).

And the extreme fear people have nowadays about the sun.
Apparently going out in the sun for longer than 10 minutes will give you cancer and kill you in excruciating pain.
Like wtf, people are avoiding sunlight like its the devil now, people are absolutely retarded.

This is a good website, thanks for sharing.

What's worse nowadays are the averages. Most of the extreme temps recorded are from decades ago, but nowadays you get longer periods of heat.

For example, Lisbon in 1949 went as high as 38°C for a couple of days, which is really high for this country, but then you'd go a week or two at 25°C average.
Nowadays you go to 38°C for a couple of days and then it stabilizes at 28°C average.

So it's clearly heating up a little bit on average.
