They filter those types out of the power/influence structures they've created. Anyone with principles are either shutdown with smear campaigns, they get de-platformed, they have their careers/livelihoods negatively impacted or just good old-fashioned threats of violence (to friends, family, whoever). They're used to doing this and they have people willing and able to do the nasty stuff. Those they target don't have the same incremental levels to fight back so they insidiously control more and more aspects of society.
