1. A lack of noise is concerning in itself, especially when the front door is open and no one is responding.

2. The cop "didun hear nuffin". So neither a dog barking, not a dog chowing down a whimpering victim.

If a cop is doing his job correctly, it is well within his right to shoot a dog trying to attack him. If a person can't keep their dog under control, as we see with the many cases of a person's pitbull being shot to death, then the cop is not at fault. That being said, if this story is true and the cop entered the house without a warrant, than the cop fucked up and should be reprimanded.

Once again, install tall fences and gates. Plant trees and other plants, some of them with sharp leaves. Cops are lazy and stupid, so don't make it easy for them to come to your front door, that should be locked.
