What are the implications of AI automating nearly every prestigious white-collar job in the near future?

Law, diagnostic medicine, finance, accounting, education, programming - AI already does these just about as well or better than the "average" human in each respective field. What's Bob the stockbroker supposed to do when he gets replaced with Tradebot9000 in 2030, reskill into a senior AI dev position? Or will everyone just be a plumber or welder or fry bagger?
