the way the third world mind works is truly appalling, how is 20 minutes any better than 3 if the plane is fucked and is gliding towards certain doom?

I still don't get Boeing. This guy's have an insane track record in the military sector, but a shit one in the commercial. I also don't get why people keep buying them, just have Airbus be the dominate airplane manufacture, who gives a fuck. Boeing needs to focus on making weapons.

I was talking to a retired Boeing engineer who was saying the recent air India investigation is being cockblocked by the Indian government. They would have all the information by now if it wasn’t. He was saying while Boeing has its own problems, most of these crashes in third world countries are due to lack of maintenance and pilot error.
He said Boeing has gotten such a reputation hit they are going to implement remote disableing of planes that aren’t maintained regularly (or pay the monthly SaaS fee lol)

Just don’t fly on third world jets and you will be fine.

Boeing defense is basically an entirely different entity. Also blank check engineering. Airbus is subsidized by taxes while Boeing commercial has to survive a market system.

Long story short complex systems can not survive capitalism, which is why China will end up winning

Think about, who wants to invest in a highly technical, labor intensive, giant overhead manufacturing organization when they can 10x on crypto or software companies who’s only overhead is a bunch of laptops and swanky office leases

they'd do it for the military projects, but the jeets can't get security clearances... yet

Starliner was fine, it came home perfectly safe. There were politically motivated reasons, largely due to Boeing resisting arm sales to Israel at the time. Musk even alluded to this. I don’t blame you for consuming the standard media sensationalism, everybody does

The plane had pressurization issues so the pilots requested a quick descent into denser breathable air for the comfort and safety of the passengers which is indeed a normal procedure for pressurization issues, you fucking retard.

How can you say that when we have the 737 MAX? Boeing hiring pajeets to code in 'nose down' when one aoa sensor goes off without any obvious override. Because they wanted to save money and copy airbus. I'll wait for this 787 investigation, can't tell if it's pure rotten luck like birds in both engines, but not discounting jeet error. And the more they hide it the more it'll be obvious. But I'm not setting foot in a 737.

a plane incident could be the fault of any number of organizations. until we know exactly what caused the problem, only a sensationalist retard would blame boeing specifically. most of boeing recent incidents happened on relatively young planes, but they still have planes as old as the 70s that have been flying without incident. what this tells me is that something in the manufacturing process has changed in the past decade or so. hmm I wonder what that could have been...

one of the biggest issues with the 737 max was that nobody who was certified to fly one was ever told about the MCAS system. simply pulling the circuit breaker would have disabled it and possibly would have let them regain control. I can't say that for sure though because I don't know if any other systems relied on it

Not Japan Airlines.
Japan Airlines only flies Airbus.
>The flight, which departed on June 30 from Shanghai Pudong Airport en route to Tokyo Narita Airport, was operated under a codeshare agreement between Japan Airlines and its low-cost subsidiary, Spring Japan

Yes this guy knows what's up. Pressurization problems occur on all types of aircraft for many different reasons. The following emergency decent is definitely scary for the pax but it really is standard procedure.
