I can't think of a worse way of showing this information. Why not all percentages? Why not include cost of living if you want to stratify the graph with gross income totals instead of percentages to put it into context? The odd presentation should trigger anons to be suspicious of the motives of the poster. If arguing in good faith, one would chose a logical graph that helps understanding instead of inpeeding it.

The U.S. also has an employer payroll tax exactly equal to the employee's income tax bite. Most people don't even know about it. People who do know about it are supposed to think their boss-man company is bearing some kind of tax burden, when in reality it's just coming out of the employees' pay. It's money that your employer has to shell out to get the value of your labor. It's the employee getting taxed twice. It's sneaky as fuck.
Anyway, I wonder if that's included in this graphic somehow. Doubt it.
